The Blue Devil's Boy's' Basketball Program was established in 2000 as part of the AAU Junior Olympic program. This year we have expanded and added the Lady Blue Devil's to our Basketball Program.
In their first season the12U Lady Blue Devil's Basketball Program competed in 5 tournaments and finished with a 16-4 overall record. Starting in the 2008-09 season the Blue Devil's will expand both the GIRL'S and BOY'S programs by added new age groups from 10U programs up to 17U High School programs.
Also we are still looking to fill have a few more slots for: 6th Grade Boys and 10U Girls Program
1. WHAT IS AAU? The Amateur Athletic Union is a National organization dedicated to amateur sports and physical fitness programs. Check out our links for for more detailed information.
2. HOW LONG IS THE AAU SEASON (Practices/Tournament)? The season depends on the program. We guarantee that each program will participate in atleast 5 Tournaments.
Spring Season (March - June): 1 practices/week & 5-10 tournaments weekends. Fall Season (Sept. - Nov.): 1 practice/week & 3-4 tournaments weekends. Typically four games are played per weekend (2 on Sat./2 on Sun).
3. HOW ARE THE AGE GROUPS DETERMINED? AAU girls basketball is based on age of Jan 1, 2007. Boys AAU basketball placement is based on grade level. Age exemptions are availible....

4. HOW DOES MY SON/DAUGHTER BECOME A BLUE DEVIL? Register and come to the tryouts. The BLUE DEVIL have tryouts in February 9th and 16th. No player is guaranteed a spot on any team.
5. WHERE ARE THE BLUE DEVIL FROM AND WHAT ARE THE BLUE DEVIL COLORS AND LOGO? Our team colors are navy blue and white. Our logo is the BLUE DEVIL. We have players that come from Ashland, Hopkinton, Holliston, Millis, Medway, and Framingham.
6. WHAT TYPE OF COMMITMENT IS INVOLVED WITH THE BLUE DEVIL?
Each player is expected to make every attempt to attend games and practices. However, there are always conflicts and communication with the coaches is crucial. Advanced warning allows for any necessary adjustments in practice or game routines
7. WHAT ARE THE GOALS OF THE BLUE DEVIL? The BLUE DEVIL support the true spirit of AAU athletics. Our coaches philosphy and commitment to each individual team member makes our players loyal to our program.
8. WHO ARE THE BLUE DEVIL COACHES? Our coaches are former high school coaches and travel team coaches. They love the game of basketball and take pride in teaching the game and further develop the girls and boys skills.
9. HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO BE A BLUE DEVIL? We try to keep fees to a minimum. Unlike some programs the BLUE DEVIL Coaches do not get paid. The fee is determined by the number of tournaments entered and cost of uniforms. 5-Spring Tournaments $350, 10-Spring/Summer Tournaments $450. (Fees might change depending on increase in tournament fees)
